The case against former Hillburn mayor and Ramapo Central School District administrator Brian Miele plods along, with an evidential hearing “imminent” according to prosecutors.
Miele has been accused with just shy of 200 felonies for allegedly falsifying information while a school administrator. Prosecutors accuse Miele of routinely fudging documents to help teachers and district employees earn raises.
The DA has not indicated he will seek to reverse the raises of those who allegedly benefitted from Miele’s alleged malfeasance.
The hearing imminent in the Miele case concerns whether a statement he made is admissible in court.
