On April 10, 2014 at approx. 3:30 a.m., Clarkstown Police responded to a reported one car accident on West Nyack Road in West Nyack. A vehicle had left the roadway and struck a “No parking Sign” and then a tree.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Brooke Atzl, 23, of Bardonia. She and a 19-year-old female passenger were treated for minor injuries at scene and transported to Nyack Hospital for further medical evaluation.
Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Brooke Atzl for DWI. She was released on an appearance ticket at Nyack Hospital with a return court date of May 1, 2014.
