The Rockland County Times has confirmed from reliable sources that three youths were arrested Friday night in Stony Point for burglary and theft after they allegedly broke into the garage of somebody they knew and stole an ATV and other items. Whether they were caught in the act or tracked down after the fact has not been confirmed.
Two of the youths arrested were Joel Crespo, 21, and his girlfriend Rosemarie Palmer, 17, the newspaper has confirmed.
It was a rough week for Palmer as Wednesday and Thursday regional media was abuzz with reports that her grandfather Eugene Palmer–the notorious fugitive who stands accused of murdering Rosemarie’s mother Tammy Palmer [his daughter-in-law]–was seen in a chemical plant near Woodbury. Those reports did not lead anywhere.
Sources blamed Rosemarie’s newfound troubles with the law on her boyfriend Joel, who has been arrested on more than one occasion.
A $2,500 reward was recently announced by New York State Crime Stoppers for information leading to Eugene’s Palmer’s arrest and conviction.
