On June 11th, 2014, at approximately 10:55p.m. the Ramapo Police Department responded to the area of Hickory Road in the Hillcrest area for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival of responding officers, it was determined that an unknown suspect attempted to rob the victim of a cell phone. The suspect threatened force, removed the cell phone from the victim, and a brief struggle ensued. The suspect fled on foot. There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male in his 20′s, approximately 6’5″, 200 lbs, wearing a white shirt and kaki pants.
The Ramapo Police Department Detectives responded and were assigned the case.
