POLICE MEDIA REPORT
On March 24 at about 2:20 p.m. Town of Ramapo Police officers responded to a report of a residential burglary at W. Hickory St. in Spring Valley. As a result of the investigation, Ramapo Police arrested Jayquan Boone (male, age 20) formerly of 56 Spring Valley Commons in Spring Valley. Boone is currently homeless.
Boone was also charged with burglary in connection with another prior burglary of a residence on W. Hickory St. as well as the burglary of a Yeshiva on Viola Rd. in Spring Valley. Boone was additionally charged with criminal trespass of a vacant residence on W. Hickory St.
Boone was arraigned in the Town of Ramapo Justice Court and he was remanded to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
The investigation is still continuing.
