Michael E. LaFrancois , 24, 0f 36 Peck St., West Haverstraw, has been arrested on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance allegedly found at a traffic stop last Friday.
The defendant claims the felony charges against him previously reported were dropped and only a misdemeanor remains. The newspaper is currently investigating the facts.
