Armando L. Castillo, a 22-year-old Haverstraw man, was arrested this week in Stony Point on charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, both felonies.On March 1, 2016, the Stony Point Police Department arrested Castillo following an investigation by the Stony Point Police Detective Bureau into the theft of a credit card. Investigation revealed that the defendant, while he was a clerk at a local business, allegedly stole a customer’s credit card.
Castillo is accused of using the credit card to purchase assorted items. He was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable April 7 at 1:30 p.m.
