DEFENDANT: Tatiana M. Franco , female, 21, 604 Ramapo Brie Ln., Mahwah, NJ 07430
CHARGES: Criminal Possession Forged Instrument 2nd (D-Felony), Tampering with Physical Evidence (E-Felony), Attempted Petit Larceny
On July 28, 2016 the Stony Point Police Department arrested the above individual on the above listed charges. The defendant was arrested following a vehicle and traffic stop and subsequent investigation where it is alleged the defendant did attempt to pass a fraudulent business check at the Chase bank located at #22 S. Liberty Dr. in Stony Point. The defendant did also attempt to destroy the evidence. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable August, 3 @ 9 p.m. after posting $500 cash bail.
