On December 31, 2016 the Stony Point Police Department arrested Fernando Matos of Newburgh on charges of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree (D- felony) and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. A routine traffice stop revealed Matos allegedly had a fictitious Indiana “dealer” license plate affixed to his vehicle.
The defendant was arrested, processed, arraigned and released on an appearance ticket returnable January 5. Bail was set at $2,000.
