Andrew Verhille will have his day in court, but the court of public opinion is unlikely to be kind to the 25-year-old New Windsor resident due to a mugshot that uncannily matches the charges against him.
The young man, who lists North Rockland High School as his alma mater on his Facebook page, was involved in a car accident Monday morning in Tomkins Cove and arrested on DWAI charges. Stony Point officers said he was under the influence of drugs but the type of substance Verhille is alleged to have been impaired by has not been determined at this time.
The accident took place in the vicinity of 795 N. Liberty Dr. (9W) at 1:26 a.m. No other cars were involved.
The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable on February 15.
