Saray Gonzales, age 23, residing at 93 Grassy Point Road, Stony Point, NY, was arrested on February 27, 2017 for hindering prosecution in the second degree and tampering with physical evidence. The defendant was arrested as part of a continuing investigation into an attempted robbery-assault investigation that occurred on February 23, 2017 where a male was stabbed. The defendant was observed in the vicinity of where the crime occurred and is alleged to have been looking for the phone of the suspect, Ereidis Pena. The defendant is the suspects’ girlfriend and it is believed that she has been rendering assistance to him. The defendant was arrested, processed and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000.00 bail.
