PRESS RELEASE FROM SVPD
Spring Valley PD received a report of a person stabbed at 109 Lake Street in the village on Wednesday afternoon. The report was received at approximately 2:45 p.m. Patrols and detectives responded to the location and found a victim with multiple stab wounds to her body. The victim was a 15-year-old female.
Rockland Paramedic Service and Spring hill Ambulance Corp. responded to the scene and treated the victim. The victim was transported to Westchester Medical where she was treated and in surgery. The suspect who is known to the victim fled the scene and his whereabouts are unknown at this time.
